I've recently discovered from some of my 6th grade boys that it is customary for 10-11 year old Korean boys to get circumcised. I've had a couple students horrifyingly tell me that their weekend plans were going to be 'bad teacher.' They returned to school the next week, barely able to walk, to the utter confusion of their girl classmates.
Korea, Why do you do this to your adolescents?
